It was a chilly night at the Lakeside Speedway on Friday night for the season opener. Once the green flag waived for the first race the heat rose rather quickly.
Lucas Oil Speedway kicked off a new season on a cool, windy Friday night with Terry Schultz of Sedalia grabbing opening-night honors in the Pitts Homes USRA Modified feature.
Track prep has officially began at the Fayette County Speedway. Only three weeks remain until opening night on Friday, April 29.
