USRA RHS Modifieds race for $1,000 to win Saturday at Lake Country Speedway


ARDMORE, Okla. -- Would you like some extra cash in your pocket?

Then the place to be this Saturday, March 26, is the Lake Country Speedway in Ardmore, Okla., where the USRA RHS Modified feature winner will go home with $1,000.

The runner-up will earn $500, third gets $300, fourth $200 and $100 goes to the rest of the main event starters. Grandstand and pit admission prices will remain the same as regular weekly shows and there is no entry fee for this event.

“We are hopibng for a nice turnout of cars and fans this weekend,” said promoter Virgil Page. “The track has been in great shape these first couple of weeks and we will continue to put the time and effort into giving the drivers a good surface to race on.”

In addition to the USRA RHS Modifieds, the Lake County Speedway also features USRA Western Flyer HotMods and USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Cars (track rules). Also on the Saturday night weekly program will be Limited Late Models, Hobby Stocks and Tornados.

Gates open at 5 p.m., racers draw will close at 7 and racing will start at 8 p.m.

The Lake Country Speedway is a 3/8-mile semi-banked clay oval located 0.7 mile east of I-35 (exit 29) on US 70, then 1.8 miles south on US 77.
