Sweeney first repeat winner at Lake Country Speedway

ARDMORE, Okla. -- Kyle Sweeney became the first repeat winner fo the season Saturday night as he topped the USRA RHS Modified feature at the Lake Country Speedway in Ardmore, Okla.

Kevin Clement took the runner-up spot, Brad Doherty finished third, fourth went to Mithcell Clement and Jimmie Williams rounded out the top-five finishers.

In USRA Karl Performance Parts B-Mod action, Danny Morris claimed the checkered flag ahead of Jeff Welborn, David Ellis, David Hoedebeck and Cullen Hill.

Treven Geter held off Weldon Gibby for top honors in the USRA Karl Chevrolet Stock Car main event, followed by Rod Shankles, Chris Penrod and Dusty Michael.

No races are scheduled for next Saturday, April 9, but racing in six classes returns on Saturday, April 16, with Fan Appreciation Night with $25-per-car-load admission for spectators. Visit www.lakecountryspeedwayok.com for more info.
