Battle of the Buzz closing in at Arrowhead Speedway


With over 50 drivers from 8 states already pre-entered for the Inaugural Battle of the Buzz paying the USRA Tuner division $10,000 to win, anticipation for the unique event set to take place on Friday and Saturday, Sept. 22-23, continues to build.

Friday's program will be an exclusive Tuner practice followed by group qualifying time trials.

Grandstands will not be open on Friday. However, anyone is welcome to attend on pit side.

On Saturday a full program will take place with heat races, multiple B-Mains and the 30-lap, $10,000-to-win, $250-to-start A-Main that will see 30 Tuners take the green flag in a three-wide start.

Tuners still have some time to pre-enter at the discounted rate of $150 and can do so at MyRacePass.com. Otherwise, late entry at the track will be $200.

Arrowhead Speedway is located 5.5-miles from the Oklahoma/Arkansas line at 20316 US-412 West in Colcord, Okla. Information on the track can be found online at ArrowheadSpeedway.com or by calling (479) 228-4290.

Summit USRA Nationals nears: The 10th Annual Summit USRA Nationals powered by Chevrolet Performance returns to the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" on October 2-7. This year's event will feature USRA Modifieds, Medieval USRA Stock Cars, USRA B-Mods, USRA Hobby Stocks and USRA Tuners.

Racers are encouraged to register online now at myracepass.com/usranationals or you can download the entry form here and then mail or fax your completed form. You can also call the USRA office at (515) 832-6000 to sign up.
