Cummins racks up third win at Chateau Raceway

LANSING, Minn. -- Jacob Dahle led the first two laps of the USRA RHS Modified feature Friday night at the Chateau Raceway. That was until Jason Cummins took over when he made the pass for the lead on lap 3. Cummins drove away and was into lapped traffic in no time. Cummins had lapped up to the fifth place car when the yellow flag came out on lap 22.

Cummins was unchallenged for his third win of the season and second in a row. Brandon Davis got past Todd Scharkey for second when the received the white flag. Dahle finished in third and Joe Horgdal was fifth.

Next Friday, Aug. 12, the USRA RHS Modifieds will be back in action along with the Corn Belt Clash Late Models and the rest of the speedway’s regular divisions. Hot laps are at 7 p.m. with racing to follow.
