Humboldt to host Heartland opener

Over six months in the making, this weekend the idea of the USRA sanctioned Heartland Modified Tour Presented by Real Racing Wheels becomes a reality! The Annual Battle at the Bullring at Humboldt Speedway, in Humboldt, Kansas plays host to the series for a pair of $2,000 to win shows.

“There has a been a ton of planning an preparation leading us to this weekend,” said Series Director Erick Chesterman. "I have give a huge thanks to JR and Kati Sartain along with John Allen for welcoming us into existence and hosting our first events. They have supported this venture from the outset and we are happy to be racing at Humboldt!”

The Battle at the Bullring is a crown jewel event for B-Mods featuring a who's who of the division. The longstanding event had recently been paired with the USMTS King of America, but for 2024 returns to it's own standalone event. This year Saturday's B-Mod winner will walk away with $5,000.

On the Modified side of things, The track will host the USRA Modified division for either a $750 or $1,000 to win show Thursday, dependent on meeting the 30 car threshold. Friday and Saturday, the tour races for $2,000 to win each night.

The grandstand gates open for entry at 5 PM each day this coming weekend. For fans unable to attend either event all three nights of the blockbuster show will be available online at RacinDirt.tv.
