NKF Tour sets sights on Britt oval

BRITT, Iowa (May 21, 2001) - The National Kidney Foundation Heartland Tour for a Cure will visit the Hancock County Speedway on Monday night, May 28th, for a night of action-packed dirt track Modified and Hobby Stock racing.

The Heartland Tour for a Cure is now in its fourth season of providing race fans with on-track action while raising the public awareness of kidney disease. In 1999 the Tour was nationally recognized for its efforts to communicate the early signs of kidney disease and the importance of early detection to its audience. The importance of having a signed organ donor card is also stressed to those in attendance making for a night of racing that is not only entertaining, but potentially life-saving.

Promoters Dan and Sandy Danielsen welcome back the NKF Tour Modifieds and Hobby Stocks for their third straight Memorial Day visit to the Hancock County Speedway. Stock Cars, Limited Modifieds and Econo Stocks will also be in action with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7:00.
