Aztec Speedway to sanction USRA Hobby Stocks

AZTEC, N.M. -- The Aztec Speedway in Aztec, N.M., will sanction their Hobby Stock class with the USRA for the 2012 racing season.

The track will run the exact same rules as they did in 2011 with no changes. To race at Aztec Speedway, drivers must purchase a USRA Hobby Stock competitor license. An application is available at the track or at www.usraracing.com.

The Aztec Speedway is a locally-owned clay racetrack operating in summer months racing five other classes in addition to the USRA Hobby Stocks.

Races are held on Saturday nights with gates opening at 4 p.m. and racing starting at 7 p.m. Earlier in the year, action will start racing early to avoid the cold. See schedule for times or call 505-258-3978 for more information.
