Grays Harbor Raceway loses second race to rainfall

ELMA, Wash. -- The Grays Harbor Raceway Saturday April 28th was unable to get things underway due to bad weather blowing in and bring down rain. Appropriate efforts were made to try and save the racetrack and get the action underway but the weather was too bad to get the night in. Next Saturday action is scheduled to resume at the Elma venue with 360 Sprints, USRA Modifieds, Hobby Stocks and Hornets.

Gates open at 2:30 for the pits and 4:30 for the grandstands with racing starting at 6:30. Prices for the event are the following: Adults $13, Senior (62+)/Juniors (15-18)/Military $10, Youths (6-14) $5, Youths (5 and Under) FREE, Family Pass (Two Adults and Up To Four Youths) $30, and Premium Seating $20.

The Grays Harbor Raceway is known for its high speeds and side by side racing as well as its sheer large size. Hosting regular racing action from April to September with 360 Sprints, USRA Modifieds, USAC Midgets, Hobby Stocks, and Hornets as regular classes. In addition the venue will host the World of Outlaw Sprint Car Series and American Sprint Car Series-National Tour.
