FOUNTAIN CITY, Wis. -- Mississippi Thunder Speedway owners Bob & Paula Timm and Tom & Tina Lockner are excited to join Mike Walski for the announcing of Sugar Loaf Ford Night, scheduled for Friday, June 22.

In addition to many free prizes to be given away to the fans and crowd in the grandstands, Walski was pleased to announce that Sugar Loaf will also be stepping up to the pay window this year for the Drivers. To that end Sugar Loaf Ford will be adding a $100 winner’s bonus, payable to the driver who wins the evening’s feature race in the four top divisions at Mississippi Thunder Speedway.

This means that the feature winner will take home an additional $100, in and above the regular weekly payout, for the following divisions: Jailhouse Saloon WISSOTA Street Stocks, USRA B-Mods, Coordinated Business Systems WISSOTA Super Stocks and River City Manufacturing USRA Modifieds.

“Over the years, we’ve established a great relationship with Sugar Loaf Ford of Winona,” explained Bob Timm. “For them to join us this season to put together Sugar Loaf Ford Night at MTS shows that our relationship continues. This will be a great night all around, not only for the fans but for the competitors as well.”

Bring the family, bring the friends, bring the neighbors. This Friday night, Sugar Loaf Ford Night is sure to be a fast and furious Friday night of fantastically affordable family friendly fun for those in the grandstands, as well as those strapped in behind the wheel competing on the track.

On-track action begins at 6 p.m. with the Sunshine Sanitation A and B Mini Mods on the “Lightning Speedway” and competition on the fast 1/3-mile gets underway at 7 p.m.

Adult general admission is $12 with senior citizen tickets only $10. Student admission (ages 13-18) is just $5 while all children 12 and under will be admitted absolutely free. The MTS Family Pass consists of two adult tickets and up to three kid's tickets for only $25 – a $14 savings over the individual purchase of those same five tickets. Also the new “Family Friendly Pit Pricing” is also available for every event.
