$1,000 to win USRA Modifieds this Friday at RPM Speedway

CRANDALL, Texas -- A top prize of $1,000 is up for grabs for the USRA Modified feature winner this Friday, Aug. 10, at the RPM Speedway of Texas.

Several other awards have been posted, along with some great prizes for the fans.

Honeycutt Sand & Gravel has added $200 to the USRA Modified purse, and Air Depot will give $200 to any USRA Modified driver who can win the main event using a nine-inch Ford rear end.

On top of that, a Hard Charger Award of $100 has been posted from Dwight & Don's Auto Care of Mesquite and Mullins Race Engines of Mt. Olive, Ill., will sponsor an eight-lap winner-take-all Trophy Dash for $250 to win.

Finally, there will also be a $600 bonus to the best two-night combined finisher at RPM Speedway on Friday and the Super Bowl Speedway in Greenville on Saurday.

USRA Modified "A" Main Payout: 1. $1000, 2. $500, 3. $300, 4. $250, 5. $200, 6. $175, 7. $150, 8. $125, 9. $100, 10. $90, 11-24. $75.

Gates open at 6:30 and races start at 8:30. Limited Modifieds and Bombers will also be on the racing card.

For the young fans, we will be giving away two boys and two girls backpacks filled with school supplies. Each child ages 5-11 will receive a ticket for the drawing. We will be giving away four backpacks on Aug. 17 and Aug. 24 too.
