O’Conner graces Grays Harbor victory lane

ELMA, Wash. -- It was an all open wheel affair at Grays Harbor Raceway on Saturday, Sept. 8, and Lawrence O’Conner of Pt. Hardy, B.C., Canada, captured his second USRA Modified win of the season.

O’Conner managed to gain lots of positions by using the high side and eventually retaking the lead on lap 23.

Scott Miller from Shelton was second and crossing the line in third was Joe German from Wishkah.

Kris Asche of Shelton was fourth and the top five was completed with Seabeck’s Craig Moore.

The fastest USRA Modified during qualifying was Joe German with a time of 16.159 seconds and heat race victors were Scott Miller and Craig Moore.
