SPRING VALLEY, Minn. -- Less than a year ago the crew at the Deer Creek Speedway was going in circles on and off the track trying to get everything ready as Mother Nature had blessed us with an exceptionally warm and early Spring.

What a difference a year can make.

Due to the inclimate weather and pending forecast, the April 3 practice session and the season opener set for April 6 have been postponed.

The revised schedule will now feature a practice session on Saturday, April 13, with the time yet to be determined.

The season opener, presented by Wells Fargo, will kick off the 2013 season on Saturday, April 20, at 5 p.m. and will feature the WISSOTA Late Models, USRA Modifieds, WISSOTA Super Stocks, WISSOTA Midwest Mods, USRA B-Mods and WISSOTA Street Stocks.
