Heavy rains knock out Chateau Raceway

LANSING, Minn. -- Heavy rains forced Chateau Raceway officials to cancel this week's racing program. Over three inches of rain soaked the facility on Friday morning and afternoon.

Racing will continue this Friday, May 24, with the 17th Annual Mike Guttormson Memorial. The USMTS Modifieds will invade the 1/3-mile clay oval for the first of two appearances this season. Also on the card will be USRA B-Mods, WISSOTA Midwest Modifieds and Pure Stocks.

Pit gates will open at 5 p.m. Grandstands open at 5:30 with hot laps at 6:30 and racing at 7 p.m.
