WHEATLAND, Mo. -- A big day of activity at Lucas Oil Speedway concluded with on and off track fireworks Saturday night. The Hickory County Fair wrapped up and the NBRA North/South Shootout completed day one of action.

The Lucas Oil Weekly Championship Series hit the "Diamond of Dirt" for one of the best nights of racing in 2013 and a large display of fireworks set to patriotic music capped off a spectacular day in Wheatland.

KIX 105.7 American Patriot Night is one of the most popular events of the summer with a special "Salute to America" Saturday night.

Terry Schultz continues to lead the USRA Modified national points standings, and he held off Jon Sheets and John Allen for the win in the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds.

Although Schultz leads the national standings, he is a mere two points behind Sheets in the Lucas Oil Speedway rankings.

The intense racing from Saturday night is not likely to cease, as the season hits it's boiling point on Saturday, July 6th for the Casey's General Store Mid-Season Points Championship presented by Coca-Cola. Don't miss the crowning of the Mid-Season champ and arrive early to get in on special promotions and give-a-ways for Casey's and Ozarks Coca-Cola.
