O'Reilly Summer Slam 2 set for Friday at RPM Speedway

CRANDALL, Texas -- The highly-anticipated RPM O'Reilly Summer Slam 2 is all set for this coming Friday night, Aug. 9, at the RPM Speedway in Crandall, Texas. The USRA Modifieds plus Factory Stocks and Limited Modifieds will be racing for $1,200 to win without any entry fee or added pit pass costs. Mod lites will also compete.

As of Monday morning, the race time forecast for this Friday night is virtually identical to last Friday, which is mid-90s and dry, dropping into the 80s during the evening.

REDRAW PROCEDURE: USRA Modifieds will have a redraw immediately following the heat races for the top 8 in points earned from heat races. It is each drivers responsibility to report to the pit steward's location (line-up board) to determine if they are in the redraw for the feature line-ups, and they need to do this immediately following their heat race. If any driver fails to report to the pit steward's location immediately after the conclusion of your division's heat races, your redraw number will be drawn for you. The pit steward will announce those driver names immediately after the heat races on the pit PA system, but if you are unsure if you made it or not, you must report to the pit steward's location to find out. So it is best if you just take a moment to come up to the pit steward's location to confirm your status immediately following your division's heat races.
