Lucas Oil Speedway Weekly Championship Series, Ladies Night this Saturday

WHEATLAND, Mo. -- On the "heels" of an outstanding weekend of racing this past Saturday night, Lucas Oil Speedway presents a special "Ladies Night" edition of the Weekly Championship Series. The first 3,000 ladies through the gates this Saturday, August 24th are admitted FREE to the speedway.

"Who needs a dating website when you can come right out the racetrack and find your perfect match," exclaimed Track General Manager Dan Robinson. "Seriously though, auto racing has become such a family sport that we wanted to reward all the moms, wives, girlfriends, and daughters out there who support auto racing and their significant others by offering them this special free admission."

The ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models, the Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds, the Carson's Corner Napa Factory Stocks, and the Tri-Lakes RV B-Mods will all be in action. The Pitts Homes USRA Modifieds will be the evening's featured class as the top open wheel modified drivers in the region hit the "Diamond of Dirt Tracks" for a special 25-lap, $750-to-win main event.

The margin in the Pitts Homes USRA Modified points battle is much closer as USRA national Points leader Terry Schultz has a slim 36 point lead over Nevada, Missouri's Jon Sheets.
