Veal victorious at Superbowl Speedway

GREENVILLE, Texas -- Wesley Veal won the 20-lap USRA Modified main event Saturday at the Superbowl Speedway.

After leading the first lap, Veal relinquished the lead to Rusty Travathan Sr. on the second lap. Veal regaine dthe lead two laps later, however, and sailed the final 17 laps to take the checkres.

Blaine Shives, Josh Landers, Donnie Shipp and Rusty Trevathan Jr. completed the top 5.
