BAYTOWN, Texas (Nov. 15)—Tracy Denby Jr. started on the pole for the USRA Limited Mod main event, and that’s all she wrote Friday night during Round 2 of the 7th Annual Lecolift Texas Winter Nationals presented by 4s Motorsports at the Royal Purple Raceway.

Denby powered to a four-car-length lead in the first two laps, and then won going away in the caution-free 20-lapper. The effort was worth $1,000 to the Vidor, Texas, racer.

Shane Hebert, Paul White, Howard Willis and Kevin Dupont rounded out the top five finishers in the feature race.

On Saturday, the USRA Limited Mods go after a $1,500 top prize while USMTS drivers will be battling for $4,000 to win. The pit gate opens at 2 p.m., grandstands open at 4, drivers meeting is at 5:30 and racing begins at 6 p.m.

Grandstand admission is $15 for adults, $5 for kids ages 6-12 and children 5 and under get in for free. Pit passes are $40.
