Fito Gallardo dominates USRA Modified field at El Paso

EL PASO, Texas -- The Barnett Harley-Davidson USRA Modifieds and USRA Stock Cars were back in action at the El Paso Speedway Park Friday night.

It was the Fito Gallardo Show for the USRA Modifieds as he set it on cruse control and led by a whole straight-away over Jake Gallardo, Rocko Gallardo, Chad Falco and Royal Jones.

The race was for fourth between Falco and Jones saw Jones try the bottom and the top with Jimmy Ray following and eventually getting around both of them.

Later, Fito Gallardo lapped up to the sixth-place finisher in dominating the USRA Modified main event.

Jon McDaniel finally ended his losing streak to Justin Lasiter in the USRA Stock Cars.

"It felt good," McDaniel said after the win.

McDaniel had the lead the whole main event, and tonight Lasiter didn't step a foot on his territory.
