Brigman bags USRA B-Mod win at North Central Arkansas Speedway
YELLVILLE, Ark. -- After two weeks of rained out events, near perfect weather conditions greeted those in attendance at North Central Arkansas Speedway for this evening’s race program.
The USRA B-Mod feature race got started with Bobby Ratterree and Jason Brigman on the front row. Brigman held the advantage exiting turn two but Ratterree held the lower groove to lead at the line for the opening circuit.
Brigman got to the lead on lap two and kept his car in front of the field for the balance of the race.
A few cautions for single car spins kept the field in close contact for much of the event allowing John Briggs to challenge Ratterree for position, but in the end Ratterree notched a solid second place finish in front of Briggs who finished third.
Please join us this Friday night, June 20, as we go Racin’ to the Cure, a fund-raising event that will benefit the American Cancer Society. There will be several raffle items including a chance to ride in a two-seat late-model, a chance to win a pit-cart and raffles for event t-shirts signed by some of your favorite NASCAR stars.
North Central Arkansas Speedway is located between Yellville and Flippin on Hwy. 62-412. The gates open at 6:00, with the racing starting at 8:00. Adult admission - $10; seniors and those with a military ID Card - $8; children 7-14 years of age - $5; kids 6 and under get in free. A family plan is just $20 for 2 adults and any children 14 and under, and a pit pass is available for $25.
