LANSING, Minn. -- Early morning thunderstorms failed to dampen the racing action at Chateau Raceway this week. A season high 85 cars signed in on GT Construction and Broadway Automotive Night. Kids had their second “car ride” night of the season before the show began. One driver would race to a career first win, another would sweep two divisions and another would take a hard roll-over on the frontstretch.

Jacob Bleess moved to the outside of row one when Blake Arndt could not make the call for the L&D Ag USRA B-Mod 18-lap feature. Bleess stormed off of row one and dominated the entire way for his 10th feature win of the season. Michael Wytaske had another great drive to finish second with Kylie Kath third. A.J. Zvorak and Scott Demmer finished out the top five.

Brandon Davis dominated the French’s Repair & Fabrication USRA Modified feature. Davis passed Todd Scharkey on lap one and led the rest of the way for his third win of the season. Scharkey would finish second while Josh Angst got to third. Tommy Myer and Darwyn Karau finished fourth and fifth.

Racing will take place with a special Thursday, July 3 show this week due to the Fourth of July holiday. Start time is the same with racing getting underway at 7:00 p.m. All six divisions will be in action for track points. There is no racing on Friday, July 4.
