Muilenbueg returns to North Central Arkansas Speedway winners circle

FLIPPIN, Ark. -- Warm and humid conditions greeted everyone in attendance this evening at North Central Arkansas Speedway for the first night of summertime racing action.

The USRA B-Mod feature race saw pole-sitter John Briggs and outside pole-sitter Logan Martin racing side-by-side through turn three.

After the opening lap was complete Martin outdistanced Briggs, leaving Jason Brigman to do battle with Briggs over second.

Steve Muilenburg made it a three-wide fight for second on laps four and five across the start/finish line before mechanical problems sidelined Brigman for the night.

Muilenburg got past Briggs for second on lap six and set off in pursuit of Martin, but Martin would leave the track for good on lap ten giving Muilenburg the lead.

Muilenburg drove to the win, Brigs held on for second and Jason Snodgrass finished in third.

North Central Arkansas Speedway is located between Yellville and Flippin on Hwy. 62-412. The gates open at 6:00, with the racing starting at 8:00.
