Muilenburg back in North Central Arkansas Speedway winners circle

YELLVILLE, Ark. -- A warm and humid August night was the backdrop for this evening’s race schedule at North Central Arkansas Speedway.

The USRA B-Mod feature race was the second of three to run caution free, getting started with Steve Muilenburg and John Briggs out in front of the field.

At the end of the opening lap, Muilenburg had moved easily in front of a battle for the second spot between Jason Brigman and Jason Snodgrass.

Snodgrass passed Brigman on lap four and set off in pursuit of Muilenburg.

As the last half of the race developed, Muilenburg pulled away to take the win, Snodgrass crossed the line in second and Brigman finished third.

North Central Arkansas Speedway is located between Yellville and Flippin on Hwy. 62-412. The gates open at 6:00, with the racing starting at 8:00. Adult admission - $10; seniors and those with a military ID Card - $8; children 7-14 years of age - $5; kids 6 and under get in free. A family plan is just $20 for 2 adults and any children 16 and under, and a pit pass is available for $25.
