LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- A great track called for great racing with the USRA Modifieds and USRA Stock Cars Saturday night at the Southern New Mexico Speedway.

It was a yellow fest" in the USRA Modifieds as there were nine cautions, one after another.

Rocko Gallardo led the first few laps until Fito Gallardo got him on a restart. Fito would just run away, with Royal Jones trying to catch him.

Fito Gallardo dominated and made it a clean sweep the weekend also.

In the USRA Stock Car division, they put a good show.

Justin Lasiter, Jason Ziehl, Jon McDaniel, Donovan Flores and George La Rose put a good battle for the lead at one point.

La Rose led until he spun.

Ziehl worked the bottom with Flores, until Flores spun out in turn 2.

It didn't take long for Flores to come back and lead the field.

Flores ran away and parked his #07 in victory lane.
