YELLVILLE, Ark. -- The hottest summer night of the year didn’t deter fans from coming out in large numbers for another great night of on-track racing Frideay evening at the North Central Arkansas Speedway.

Logan Martin and Steve Muilenburg held the front row to get the USRA B-Mod feature race underway, and after racing side-by-side for the first three laps around the speedway Muilenburg cleared Martin exiting turn 2 on the third lap to hold the lead for lap 4.

Jason Brigman held off an early challenge for the third position from Jason Snodgrass as John Briggs fought with Dustin Shaw for track position behind them. A three-car accident on lap 8 brought out the only yellow flag of the race, ending the night prematurely for both Shaw and Briggs.

As the race resumed, Muilenburg pulled away from Martin to take the win with Martin taking second and Brigman ending his night in third.

North Central Arkansas Speedway is located between Yellville and Flippin on Hwy. 62-412. The gates open at 6:00, with the racing starting at 8:00. Adult admission - $10; seniors and those with a military ID Card - $8; children 7-14 years of age - $5; kids 6 and under get in free.
