Turner, Gorham top Southern New Mexico Speedway features

LAS CRUCES, N.M. -- Mother Nature wouldn't win this battle Saturday night as the USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods put on a show at the Southern New Mexico Speedway.

An insane USRA B-Mod main event took place as there was trouble everywhere. Carlos Ahumada Jr. dominated the opening laps until he found himself in the wall.

Billy Braswell led until Donovan Flores and Gregory Gorham got around.

Gorham led with Flores right behind him.

Caution after caution, it was over with Gorham dominant in the USRA B-Mod division.

Lloyd Turner made the return to the Southern New Mexico Speedway and did he drive the wheels of that No. 0 machine.

Turner, who has been stopped so many times this year on the final lap, finally got the job done tonight.

Drivers are getting heated up on points because to win a championship at the Southern New Mexico Speedway is something hard to do. Especially this track because it's one of the toughest tracks to get around in the nation. Hope to see you all next weekend for the Barnett Harley-Davidson USRA Modifieds.
