Jake Gallardo sweeps El Paso

Jake Gallardo stayed strong to hold off his dad, Fito Gallardo, for the victory Friday night at the El Paso Speedway Park.

Fans enjoyed the "Gallardo Show" as in the heat race the two went side by side for the lead and Fito Gallardo would win the battle. When it came down to main event time it was the same thing!, but this time it was different.

Jake Gallardo had the high line and Fito Gallardo was on the bottom. Fito Gallardo had the bottom groove coming into play until he didn't hit his mark in turns thr3-4 and went flying off the track into the pits.

Jake Gallardo would then not have to worry about his dad, but lapped traffi was an issue. Nonetheless, Jake Gallardo picked up his first win at the El Paso Speedway Park and the state of Texas this year. He has won in Arizona and New Mexico this season/

Jason Josselyn would turn into a fireball for the second week in a row in  the USRA Stock Cars. This time, though, it was in his heat race. He would fix it for the main and came to stop Robert Vega from going to a perfect 3-0.

Josselyn battled Vega for a while as they shared the lead for bit, until Josselyn broke away.
