Rain dampens show at Upper Iowa Speedway

DECORAH, Iowa—Mother Nature got her way on Saturday night at the Upper Iowa Speedway.

Just before hot laps, a quick yet powerful thunderstorm rolled through the area.

With already damp conditions, track officials made the call just before 6pm on Saturday night.

The Upper Iowa Speedway will welcome the USMTS Modifieds and the Holley Iron Man Series featuring USRA Stock Cars and USRA B-Mods, plus USRA Hobby Stocks next Sunday, May 24, for the 13th Annual Stars & Stripes Shootout.
