WINSTON, Mo.—With a pit full of cars and grandstands full of fans, a field of quality USRA B-Mods saw the familiar face of 2014 USRA National Champion Chad Clancy not be denied as he led every lap on his way to victory.

Clancy was challenged by Jeremy Pittsenbarger and Clint Baker to the checkers, but Pittsenbarger had to settle for second place, holding Baker to third.

Jim Cameron and Nic Hanes dueled it out to the line with Cameron fourth and Hanes fifth.

Heat race winners included Clancy, Baker, Troy Carlyle and Ed Noll. The “B” Feature winners were Tim Eaton and Steve Starmer.

Continuing to perform with the highest standard of perfection, the USRA Stock Cars did not disappoint.

Swapping the lead in the early stages, heat race winners Dean Wray and Jason Estes appeared to be the cars to beat.

Wray took the lead only to see Estes charge back by in the middle stages of the feature.

Wray regrouped, took back the lead and held the top spot on his way to the McCarthy Auto Group Winner’s Circle.

Estes ended the night in second place with Jon Boller Jr. third. Billie Hoover again raced his way to a solid and consistent fourth-place finish, and rounding out the top five was Jeff Dixon.

USRA Modifieds ended the night’s racing action as 25 strong with the best of the best vying for the win.

Zach Sanders, backing up his 2014 track championship, closed the deal on this night by picking up the feature win.

Darren Shaw challenged Sanders early and often only to place second as the checkers fell.

Mark Schafman, on his first visit to I-35 Speedway this 2015 racing season, impressed all with a third-place showing, and the big mover in the feature was Dennis Elliott, coming from a tenth row to race his way to fourth place.

Kyle Covert found I-35 Speedway to his liking as he rounded out the top five.

Heat race winners were Sanders, Shaw, Steven Bowers Jr. and Cory Wray.

I-35 Speedway would like to thank Bouzek Racing and Nic & Misty Hanes for the two bicycles given away during Intermission activities. Congratulations to Xavier Mantio and Danica Knecht—enjoy those bikes. I-35 Speedway would also like to thank all of our great drivers and fans alike for making this a night to remember.

See everyone next week for more “Dirt Trackin at its Best.”
