Allen, Richards roll at Humboldt


HUMBOLDT, Kan.—Long-time USRA Modified ace John Allen would not be denied in Friday night's feature at the Humboldt Speedway, putting on a clinical display of speed and poise on his way to victory lane.

Justin Johnson claimed runner-up and Jim Body was third. Chase Sigg came from deep in the 18-car field to claim fourth, edging fifth-place Chase Domer at the line.

USRA B-Mod phenom Jake Richards came from Kansas City to take the main event win on Friday night.

After a several-week hiatus, Lucas Issacs returned to a strong second, with Tyler Kidwell third, Brian McGowen fourth and Dakota Foster fifth.

Friday, July 3, at 'The Hummer' will be hot with $2,000 to win for USRA Modifieds and $500 to win the USRA B-Mod main event.

Best of all, a massive fireworks display will be stasged after the races. Admission is $13 for adults and $5 for kids.
