HARTFORD, S.D.—Nick Barger didn’t experience quite the tension in his USRA B-Mod victory, but he enjoyed his ride just the same.

He gradually pulled away from Dustin Kruse to gain his second feature win of 2015.

Barger said, “I know he’s tough, but once I found the bottom in one and two it helped me out.”

Barger was also very complimentary of the track which had a perfect dry-slick surface.

Kruse was able to stay in front of Miah Christensen for a second place finish.

Christensen came from 12th to third.

The USRA Hobby Stock feature was led by four different drivers.

Cole Gulbrandson led the last four of the 12 lap event for his first ever Hobby Stock win.

“My number one thank you is my brother, Dustin,” Cole Gulbrandson said before reeling off a list of thank yous like a seasoned pro.

Brian Hoing led the majority of the race but finished sixth.

Cautions and a couple of fender-benders shuffled the field on more than one occasion.

Tim Waltner raced from ninth to second and Jason Bradley moved up four positions to finish third.

Meanwhile, defending USRA national points champion Dustin Gulbrandson made some key passes late in the race to climb to fourth.

He has finished in the top five every night this season.

I-90 Speedway races every Saturday night through the season championships on September 5.

Hot laps begin at 6:30 p.m. with racing at 7:00.
