Thompson goes for third win in August Saturday at Legit Speedway Park

WEST PLAINS, Mo.—Saturday night racing at Legit Speedway Park will feature all six classes on the track for the weekly points competition. This week's racing event is sponsored by Don’s Auto Service and West Plains Propane.

In the USRA B-Mod division, Toby Thompson of Mountain Grove is currently in tenth in the points but has established himself recently as the one to beat, appearing in the winner's circle twice in August.

Safely at the top of the leaderboard is Carl Murphy of Caulfield.

In that black #2, Murphy has consistently finished in the top 5 this season with nine top-5 finishes.

He is followed by Dustin Shaw from Birch Tree who is 123 points behind the leader.

Gene Sisco (#44S) and Rustin Miller (#44) are third and fourth, respectively.
