LAS CRUCES, N.M.—It was a massive car turnout Saturday night at the Southern New Mexico Speedway, nd if you missed it then you missed a full track in every class.

The Sun Valley Hardware USRA Stock Cars went 20 laps with 16 cars taking the green flag. But it was Jason Josselyn leading all the way to the checkered flag, winning by inches over Noah Hollingshead.

The USRA Modified feature saw Jake Gallardo fend off a late-race challenge from his father, Fito Gallardo, to take the win with Jimmy Ray holding on for third while Christie Georges-Barnett cracked the top four.

Jake Gallardo was calm as always after the race, but with a dominating performance like he had tonight its hard to not be a little excited.

“The car and the track worked almost perfectly together tonight,” he said. “I have been trying to do different things with the car and I think we are really close to being exactly where the car needs to be.”

If you missed the Gallardos put the hammer down tonight then you better not miss next week as the 360 Non-Wing Sprint Cars return to Southern New Mexico Speedway for an exciting weekend of adrenaline-packed fun. Next weekend is also the Josh Jackson Benefit and all proceeds are going to Josh and his family.

Gates open at 5:30 and racing starts at 7:45. Don’t miss out!
