OSKALOOSA, Iowa -- This Wednesday night, May 25, fans will get a treat with a special Fan Appreciation Night sponsored by Mike's Tire, Alignment & Custom Wheels, along with Conger Machine Night at the Races.

The grandstand price will be slashed to just $5 for everybody 12 and older, with all kids 11 and under admitted FREE.

"We wanted to offer our Fan Appreciation Night two weeks ago, but Mother Nature just would not cooperate," said promoter Todd Staley. "We have some of the best fans in Iowa at the Carriker Ford Southern Iowa Speedway, and this is for them.

"If the fans pack the grandstands, they'll get to see some of the best racing in the country and we will continue the Fan Appreciation pricing each week if the stands are full."

Make plans to attend this night with four classes in action featuring the USRA Casey's General Stores Championship Series. On the menu are USRA-sanctioned Modifieds, Stock Cars and Hobby Stocks, along with the popular Dirt Trucks on the big, fast half-mile oval.

SALUTE TO ARMED FORCES: While it's Fan Appreciation Night this Wednesday, don't forget that it's Armed Forced Appreciation every night at the Carriker Ford Southern Iowa Speedway. Members of the military simply need to show their military i.d. at the ticket window to get in FREE ... just our way of saying "Thank You" for making it possible for all of us to enjoy the greatest spectator sport in the world.

Gates will open at 5 p.m., with racing slated to take to the track at 7 p.m.
