Fall Jamboree Fun Friday tees off with Club Car Jamboree Open presented by Miner’s Outdoor & Rec

SPRING VALLEY, Minn. (Sept. 21)—The Best of the Best will be slicing and dicing their fire-breathing dirt modifieds around the high banks of the Deer Creek Speedway this Thursday, Friday and Saturday at the 17th Annual Featherlite Fall Jamboree.

On Friday morning, however, they’ll be swinging their drivers and slicing their balls at the annual Club Car Jamboree Open presented by Miner’s Outdoor & Rec.

The annual golf tournament for racers, crew members, event officials and fans will tee off at 10 a.m. this Friday at the Root River Country Club located five miles south of Spring Valley, Minn. The contest is open to everybody, and fans are especially invited to join in the fun with USMTS drivers, crew members and officials.

The winning team will score a $300 cash prize while the second- and third-place finishing foursomes will earn $200 and $100, respectively. Many other awesome prizes will also be awarded.

As in the past, the format for this year’s outing will be a four-person best-ball contest with a Texas-style shotgun start. Entry is $40 per person and covers nine holes of golf with cart, cash awards, prizes and meal.

Your registration also entitles you to an additional nine holes after the tournament if you need another round to satisfy your golf fix.

Slots still remain. To get entered, call the USMTS office at 515-832-7944 or Deer Creek Speedway at 507-754-6107. You can also sign up at the USMTS souvenir trailer behind the Deer Creek Speedway grandstands. Space is limited to the first 80 players, so reserve your spot today!
