Springfield Raceway kicks off 2016 season with March Madness

SPRINGFIELD, Mo.—Springfield Raceway will be kicking the 2016 racing season of with March Madness as MARS Late Models will invade the Springfield, Mo., 1/4-mile clay oval on Saturday, March 19.

All six of the Springfield Raceway weekly classes will be on the card and racing for added money on this night as well. USRA Modifieds will be paying $1,000 to win and $100 to start with a $35 entry fee. USRA B-Mods will pay $500 to win and $65 to start with a $25 entry fee.

Midwest Modz, Legends Cars and Pure Stocks will also be racing. Pits open at 2 p.m., grandstands open at 4:30, hot laps start at 5:30 and racing begins at 6 p.m.

Adult tickets are $20, kids are $12 and children 5 and under are free. Pit passes are $35.
