Practice picture perfect at I-35 Speedway

WINSTON, Mo.—More than 80 cars entered the pits at I-35 Speedway Monday afternoon on a well-prepared track to test and tune their race cars and skills.

USRA Modifieds, Out-Pace USRA B-Mods and Holley USRA Stock Cars, plus Chargers, Pure Stocks and E-Mods  were all in attendance and speeding around the fast 3/8-mile of dirt testing the limits of man and machine.

Concessions, along with Trackside Bar & Grill, were open so all were well fed to watch the action unfold on track.

Last year’s track champions Tim Eaton (Out-Pace USRA B-Mods) and Dean Wray (Holley USRA Stock Cars) were among those practicing for 2016 in hopes of repeat their success in 2015.

Many cars had all graphics on the side and others still wore just paint as many different stages of completion were represented on track. One thing is for sure, 2016 promises to be the best year yet at the I-35 Speedway, so join us for more “Dirt Trackin' at its Best” this Sunday, March 20, when the season kicks off with the USMTS Modifieds and the Iron Man Challenge for Holley USRA Stock Cars and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods.
