Out-Pace USRA B-Mods in the spotlight Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway

WHEATLAND, Mo.—Round two of the Lucas Oil Speedway's Budweiser Weekly Championship Series resumes on Saturday with the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods the feature division.

Presented by KLOZ-Mix 92.7, it's the first Super Saver Special of the season with fans arriving before 6:30 p.m. receiving four admissions, four hot dogs and four 20-ounce Coca-Cola products for $30.

Gates open at 5 p.m. with hot laps at 7 and racing at 7:30. Classes in action include the ALPS Food Store ULMA Late Models, the USRA Modifieds, the Carson's Corner Napa Street Stocks, and the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods.

The 25-lap Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature will pay $500 to win. If it's anything like last week's B-Mod feature, fans will be on their feet throughout. Chris Clancy of Excelsior Springs made a low-side pass of Lebanon's Kris Jackson coming out of the final corner to win the B-Mod feature by inches at the finish line with J.C. Morton on their bumpers for third.

Bolivar's Jeff Cutshaw won the USRA Modified feature last Saturday.

A total of 104 cars checked into the pits for last week's program, including 38 in the deep Out-Pace USRA B-Mod division. The program included a tribute to 2014 Late Model track champion Jake Williams, who lost his life last December.
