WARRENSBURG, Mo.—The 2016 season is underway and this weekend championship points racing continues with University of Central Missouri (UCM) Night at the Central Missouri Speedway. USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Mods and Pure Stocks will compete in preliminary and main event races throughout the night as drivers look to start the season strong to establish themselves in the point’s chases.

All UCM students with a current and valid UCM student I.D. will receive half-priced grandstand admission at just $5. Last weekend, the season began with Gunner Martin of Independence capturing his first-ever USRA Modified victory at CMS.

On Saturday, pit gates open at 4:30, followed by grandstands at 5, driver pill draw cut-off is 6:15 (no passing points if driver draws after cutoff), pit meeting takes place at 6:30, hot laps begin at 7, followed by racing at 7:30. Adult general admission is $12, military with I.D. and seniors 65+ are $10, kids ages 6 to 12 are $5, and children 5 and under are free.

CMS is located 3.5-miles north of Warrensburg, Mo., from the junction of Highways 50 and 13 in Warrensburg just north of the new Highway 13 by-pass round-a-bout, or from the Higginsville exit off I-70, head south on Highway 13 for 12.5 miles.
