Racing resumes Saturday at Lucas Oil Speedway with $5 Night presented by KOLR Channel 10

WHEATLAND, Mo.—When the Budweiser Weekly Championship Series at Lucas Oil Speedway resumes on Saturday, the USRA Modifieds and Out-Pace USRA B-Mods will be back to battle. ALPS Food Stores ULMA Late Models and Carson's Corner NAPA Street Stocks also are in action as a busy month of April racing comes to a close with round three of the weekly series.

Special $5 ticket prices for all adults, seniors, military and youth are on tap with kids 5-and-under, as always, admitted free. Gates open at 5 with hot laps at 7 and racing at 7:30.

"This is a terrific opportunity for our fans to come out, bring the entire family and enjoy a night at the races at a great price thanks to our friends at KOLR Channel 10," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said. "We've had a tremendous first few weeks of racing to our 2016 season and are looking to finish out April with another big, full program."

Last week's feature winners were Logan Martin in the USRA Modifieds and Kris Jackson in the Out-Pace USRA B-Mods.

Martin, a 20-year-old from West Plains, had a particularly busy week with double duty. He also finished third in his Out-Pace USRA B-Mod to go along with his feature triumph in his USRA Modified.

Lebanon's Jackson leads the Out-Pace USRA USRA B-Mod points chase with Jeff Cutshaw of Bolivar atop the USRA Modified standings.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With it's entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
