WEST PLAINS, Mo.—A field of 15 hit the track in the Out-Pace USRA B-Mod competition Saturday at the Legit Speedway. Toby Thompson of Mountain Grove earned the pole position and never relinquished his spot, with a wire-to-wire win. Rustin Miller of Houston finished in second place and Bobby Ratterree of Mountain Grove finished in third. They put on a great show for the fans with good hard racing all night long.

The evening was sponsored by Bad Boy Mowers and they and Hirsch Feed and Farm Supply had folks on hand all day to let people test out the Bad Boy Mowers and other equipment from Hirsch. It was a successful event according to John Williams, manager at Hirsch Feed & Farm Supply of West Plains.

Next weekend, April 30, will feature the huge MARS $3,000-to-win event presented by West Plains Resaw and Missouri Hardwood. All classes will be racing and there should be a large number of late models on hand. You don’t want to miss the action. Gates open at 5. Hot laps start at 6:30. Races at 7.
