WARRENSBURG, Mo.—Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) will salute its neighbors to the east Saturday, April 30, for Whiteman Air Force Base Night featuring weekly racing with USRA Modifieds, Street Stocks, B-Mods and Pure Stocks, plus guest class Midwest Mod Lites. Active-duty and retired military personnel with valid I.D. will receive $5 grandstand admission. In addition to hosting our military friends, CMS will also recognize Camp Valor Outdoors in Holden.

Camp Valor Outdoors is a non-profit that recognizes and honors wounded veterans and their families with the opportunity to participate in competitive outdoor activities with dignity and respect while empowering them with the skills and motivation to overcome their injuries. Wounded Warriors and their immediate family members (wife/husband or son/daughter) will receive FREE grandstand admission. The Camp Valor Team 327 Mod Lite will compete in the Midwest Mod-Lite events throughout the night.

Last week left a trail of social media shout-outs for the outstanding racing witnessed by those in attendance. From the opening heat race to the final laps of the closing race, the track remained multi-grooved for the drivers who gave the fans in the stands their money’s worth throughout the program. Matt Johnson emerged victorious in a furious fight to the finish to claim the USRA Modified victory.

Pit gates open at 4:30, grandstands at 5, driver’s pill draw cut-off 6:15 (no passing points for late drivers), pit meeting 6:30, hot laps at 7, and racing at 7:30.
