Watson wins at North Central Arkansas Speedway

The start of this evening's race program at North Central Arkansas Speedway was delayed due to lighting issues related to the rains received earlier in the week, but with repairs made and lighting restored to the track in turn two the heat races kicked off the fast paced nightly program.

The Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature race saw only three cars start the race with Derek Watson leading Rustin Miller and Daniel Bolen to the green flag.

Miller was able to race alongside Watson through the first three corners, but slowed rapidly and pulled off the track in turn four on the opening lap.

Watson never was challenged in taking the feature win, Bolen ended the race in second with Miller scored in third.

Results: 1) #55 Derek Watson, 2) #44 Rustin Miller, 3) #81 Daniel Bolen.

Racing action continues this Friday night, May 20, with all classes in action. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and those with a military ID, $5 for those ages 7 through 15 with 6 and under getting in free. A family plan is $25 for two adults and their family members 15 and under.
