Dillard, Strong best in Sunday action at Humboldt

After mother nature forced a cancellation on Friday night, Sunday welcomed drivers to Humboldt Speedway for a night of great racing.

In McCarthy Auto Group USRA Modifieds, USMTS regular Cade Dillard showed his skills in holding off Mike Striegel for a hard fought victory. Dillard, after racing in Minnesota earlier in the week, stuck around the area in preparation for a USMTS swing through the region.

In Ray's Metal Depot USRA B-Mods,  Shawn Strong capped his night with a convincing win, showing the same skill that allowed him take Battle of the Bullring honors last season.

Weather permitting, racing returns to the 3/8 mile Humboldt Speedway on Friday, May 20th with all five weekly classes and bicycle races for the kids.
