Entire Fourth of July Weekend cancelled at Central Missouri Speedway

WARRENSBURG, Mo.—The entire weekend of racing scheduled for the Tom Wilson Memorial BBQ Bowl at Central Missouri Speedway is cancelled. The Warrensburg area has already received excessive rain and heavy rain is expected to continue throughout the weekend. Rather than having everyone waiting in the wings and trying to come up with plan C, we have decided to cancel the entire race weekend to give race teams, fans, and families an opportunity to revise their schedules.
We are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused, this was not an easy decision! We know this race brings in traveling race teams and fans and wanted to provide as much lead-in time as possible.

The $1,500-to-Win track Street Stock special will be made up on Saturday, July 23rd. Stay tuned for further details regarding the Street Stock special. Next Saturday, July 9th, weekly championship racing resumes plus the previously delayed B-Mod main event. The B-mod race will be the first race out for the night and will resume from where it left off originally from lap number five.

To recap, the Tom Wilson Memorial weekend of racing for July 2nd and 3rd is cancelled entirely. Weekly racing resumes next week at CMS on Saturday, July 9th.
