Snodgrass snags North Central Arkansas Speedway win

YELLVILLE, Ark.—The cloudy and humid conditions tonight at North Central Arkansas Speedway made for a fast race surface and another night of intense racing action.

The Out-Pace USRA B-Mod feature got underway with Jason Snodgrass and Kandy Methvin side by side headed off turn four to the waving green flag. Snodgrass immediately went to the very bottom of the track to try to gain the advantage over Methvin exiting turn two but Methvin was able to ride the higher groove to the lead on the opening lap.

Snodgrass kept trying the bottom line for the first pair of circuits and a slip across the cushion between turns one and two by Methvin allowed Snodgrass to gain the lead on lap three. A lap four caution bunched the cars for a restart and Snodgrass quickly pulled away from Methvin to claim his second feature win of the year.

Methvin finished second and John Briggs, winner of the two previous feature events, finished third.

Racing action continues this Friday night, July 15, with a full race program and the Benny Arnall Memorial Bicycle Giveaway. Admission is $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and those with a military ID, $5 for those ages 7 through 15 with 6 and under getting in free. A family plan is $25 for two adults and their family members 15 and under.
