Deadline approaching to reserve Lucas Oil Speedway banquet tickets


WHEATLAND, Mo.—Deadline to reserve tickets for the annual Lucas Oil Speedway Championship Banquet at The Lodge at Old Kinderhook in Camdenton is quickly approaching.

The top 10 in each of the Budweiser Weekly Championship Series divisions will be honored during the Nov. 5 banquet. Champions for 2016 included Jeff Cutshaw (Pitts Homes USRA Modified) and J.C. Morton (Out-Pace USRA B Mods).

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour from 6-7 followed by the dinner and awards program. A cash bar will be available.

"This is always a fun event for drivers, crew members and fans as we get together to celebrate a tremendous season," Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Dan Robinson said. "The deadline to reserve tickets will be upon us before we know it, so we want to make sure to get the word out so everyone who would like to attend is able to."

Tickets are $40 and can be reserved by calling the Lucas Oil Speedway Office at (417) 282-5984 or by emailing Nichole McMillan at nichole@LucasOilSpeedway.com. Tables of 10 are also available for $400.

Please RSVP and order tickets no later than Oct. 28. Banquet tickets will not be available for purchase after that date and tickets will not be available at the door.

All tickets must be paid for in advance. Cash, checks, or credit cards are acceptable methods of payment.

Drivers must attend the awards banquet to receive their awards, including cash and contingencies.

The final event of the 2016 season at Lucas Oil Speedway is set for Saturday with the Monster Truck Nationals "Spooktacular." Gates open at 5 p.m. with a Pit Party and trick-or-treating. Advance tickets are on sale at O'Reilly Auto Parts locations.

Lucas Oil Speedway is located at Highways 83 and 54 in Wheatland, Missouri. A campground with shower and bathroom facilities is also available. With it's entrance located just outside the pit gate this sprawling scenic camping facility will continue to enhance the racing experience at the Diamond of Dirt Tracks.
