USRA Stock Car Shootout up next at Cresco

CRESCO, Iowa -- The USRA Casey's General Stores Weekly Racing Series event scheduled for Sunday, June 25, at the Cresco Speedway was canceled due to inclement weather.

Next Sunday, July 2, the Cresco Speedway hosts the USRA Stock Car Shootout featuring the top Stock Car drivers in the Midwest battling for a $1,000 top prize! In addition, all USRA Casey’s General Stores Weekly Racing Series classes will be in action, including Modifieds, B-Mods and Hobby Stocks and Outlaw Hobbies.

Admission is $10 for adults $10, kids (6-12) are $4 and children 5 and under are admitted FREE. Gates open at 4 p.m., with hot laps at 6:15 and racing slated to begin at 6:30.

The Cresco Speedway is located 0.2 miles north of SR 9 on SW 7th (at the Howard County Fairgrounds). For more information call the track hotline at (563) 547-3400.
