Due to recent heavy rain and more on the way, coupled with impending freezing temperatures and high winds, officials from the Southern New Mexico Speedway regret to announce that this week's inaugural Short Track Shootout has been postponed to March 16-19.

The Short Track Shootout will take over the dates originally set for the Winter Meltdown that weekend.

All pre-purchased spectator tickets and pit parking stalls will be honored on the new dates for the Short Track Shootout.

More information will be forthcoming in the next few days and weeks.
